Hitachi Data Systems appoints head of Germany
Daniel Dalle Carbonare took over the vacant management position at Hitachi Data Systems in Germany at the turn of the year 2016. The Swiss national was previously responsible for the company as Regional Vice President for the Central Region.
As part of an organizational restructuring of the European regions, the German market will now also be part of the EMEA Central Region. As a result, the area for which he is responsible now includes the markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Central/Eastern Europe (CEE) and Israel.
"The German market will be by far the largest in terms of sales in the restructured EMEA Central Region. I am very much looking forward to creating new momentum and synergies here together with the German team."
Dalle Carbonare comments.
He joined Hitachi Data Systems in 2010 as Sales Director Switzerland and took over as General Manager in Switzerland on April 1, 2011. During this time, the company has continued to develop positively and, in addition to the core business of enterprise storage, has recorded excellent growth across the entire portfolio of infrastructure solutions.
Since April 2013, Carbonare has headed the EMEA Central Region as Regional Vice President. Before joining Hitachi Data Systems, Daniel Dalle Carbonare was Head of Key Account Business for the software portfolio at IBM Switzerland and in this role was largely responsible for success in Switzerland.
