At the virtual general meeting held as part of DSAGLIVE, the alternative offering of the German-speaking SAP User Group e. V. (DSAG) for the 21st DSAG annual congress in Mannheim, new positions were filled on the association and specialist board.
Jens Hungershausen, full-time Head of IT/CIO for IT at MEGA eG, was elected as the new Chairman of the Executive Board. He takes over from Marco Lenck, who did not stand for re-election in accordance with the Articles of Association.
The association's board is responsible for the strategic development of DSAG. Jens Jarick, full-time Head of IT Finance, Commercial and Logistic Services at Infraserv, was elected as the new Treasurer.
Jens Jarick takes over the position from Jens Hungershausen, the new CEO. The previous specialist board area of Operations/Service & Support has been split into two separate areas. In addition, the Finance Division was newly established and Karin Gräslund, full-time Professor of Business and Financial Informatics at the Wiesbaden Business School of the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim, was appointed to the Board of Management.
By establishing the new board areas, DSAG is responding to the need for increased technical discourse with SAP. From the point of view of the departments on the company and user side, this places greater emphasis on business process expertise.
Jean-Claude Flury, full-time CIO at household appliance manufacturer V-ZUG, is the new Executive Board member for Switzerland. In his new position, Flury wants to bring together users with their wishes and concerns on the one hand and SAP with their goals on the other in a "constructive, critical dialog.
"If you listen to each other, understand each other, and work on solutions, concrete demands are also a goal-oriented basis for discussion"Flury is convinced.
He sees one of these discussion bases with SAP in S/4. In addition, there is a need for clear roadmaps as to where the solutions will develop. SAP is also called upon to support customers in the digital scenarios for the new products, says Flury. Daniela Meisenheimer, who has been in charge of Marketing & Sales since the beginning of 2020, and Steffen Pietsch, who is responsible for Technology, will remain in office.
Meisenheimer is responsible for international corporate communications and digital marketing at Döhler. Pietsch works at Haufe-Lexware Solutions.
