New CEO at Siemens Digital Logistics
Volker Kirchgeorg takes over the management of Siemens Digital Logistics. The company specializes in the digitalization of logistics processes and positions itself as an IT service provider in global supply chain management with integrated software and consulting solutions.

Kirchgeorg, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich, has many years of experience in the IT industry and previously worked for SAP in Walldorf for more than nine years. As Senior Vice President, he was most recently responsible for company-wide quality management and, among other things, managed all software development processes and technical partner management.
The Munich native's career has also included international consulting firms. The logistics industry is undergoing profound change, which is primarily driven by integrated, digital solutions. "Siemens Digital Logistics provides its customers with a portfolio of cloud-based software solutions, consulting and implementation services. This supports customers on their way to a digital value chain", Kirchgeorg outlines the offer.
