MoovOn App - It pays to be on the road

Developed by Cittadino Digital, a company associated with Tank & Rast and specializing in digital media projects, the MoovOn app offers mobile people up-to-date services and clear added value during their journey.
True to the motto "It pays to be on the road," users of the MoovOn app receive MoovCoins for kilometers traveled, regardless of the means of transportation used or the mode of transportation.
The MoovCoins are collected and can then be redeemed for attractive rewards at various reward partners. The app is connected to the SAP Exchange Media Platform (SAP XM), which is based on the SAP Cloud Platform.
The digitization of marketing as part of the digital transformation presents companies with technological and organizational challenges. On the one hand, cooperation between innovative partners at eye level is needed to master these challenges.
At the same time, IT systems that can process large volumes of data from various internal and external sources in real time and analyze it in context are a basic prerequisite for digital transformation.
For the chief marketing officer, real-time contextual information is essential to communicate the right message to the right recipient at the right time through the right channel. Cutting-edge digital marketing must do just that.
"It is crucial for companies to fully understand customers and their needs. The marketing department can use this to address them precisely in a way that is relevant to the recipient. Close cooperation between the CMO and CIO is enormously important here and a key success factor.
SAP is a key partner for us, supporting us with its innovative strength and forward-looking product portfolio to drive the digital transformation and achieve our digitization goals."
explains Gerhard Göttert, CIO at Tank & Rast and Managing Director of Cittadino Digital.
With the SAP Cloud Platform, S/4 Hana, Hybris Marketing and SAP XM, SAP provides a comprehensive infrastructure that optimally supports companies here. In January, SAP also combined its IoT portfolio under the SAP Leonardo brand.
SAP Leonardo bundles Big Data applications and connectivity into a cross-business package offering with application scenarios for connected products, assets, and infrastructure to fleets, markets, and people.
