Novacapta and Convista jointly create SAP/MS solutions
With Novacapta and Convista Consulting, both headquartered in Cologne, two specialized Microsoft and SAP partners, respectively, have joined forces to jointly execute projects in the future. With Embrace, Microsoft and SAP provide comprehensive packages with standardized reference architectures and roadmaps as well as best practices. They are intended to enable companies to quickly map their requirements in the cloud. Experienced partners are then needed for actual project implementation and consulting.
"Through Embrace, our customers benefit from a simpler licensing model, reduced operating costs and, above all, the many new opportunities for easier integration of Microsoft 365 and Azure with SAP processes," explains Thomas Schönemeier, Managing Partner at Convista. "Together with Novacapta, we can optimally cover all process as well as technology issues and provide holistic consulting."
"For us, Embrace is clearly more than SAP on Azure. Seamlessly integrating business processes is our overarching goal here.", says Eric Chall, managing director of Novacapta.
The example of Microsoft 365 makes this clear: The strengths of the platform lie in enabling and improving team collaboration with tools and applications as intuitively as possible. The results developed there can then in turn be converted and used in structured SAP processes.
"We can offer Microsoft holistically, whether it's Azure cloud services, custom development or low-code applications with Power Platform."
This partnership offers existing SAP customers a scalable, integrated platform for core ERP processes, which they can enrich with cloud services such as AI, RPA or IoT and on which they can quickly create agile business applications. In the course of this, previous shadow systems (Access, Excel, etc.) can also be replaced by quickly designable low-code applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
The aim is to offer customers the best of both worlds and to combine them. Depending on the customer scenario and the starting point, it is important to find the right solution. There is some overlap in the service offerings of Microsoft and SAP. Here, the two companies will share their know-how in a series of webinars and highlight the differences and strengths of the products. The aim is to bring order to the jungle of SAP-Microsoft options.
