The concept of the SAP Hana Partner Race was to combine technological knowledge transfer and partnership-based co-innovation to create an exciting competition. First place went to the team from Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP).
Their winning project supports the measurement of engine performance for Mercedes AMG: from the test bench to the endurance test, millions of data can be recorded for the first time on the basis of SAP Hana and transformed into valuable insights within a few seconds. The aim is to identify sources of error within minutes using real-time analysis and minimize the risk of faulty components to almost zero.
MHP shares the prize money of 50,000 euros with the runner-up, IBM Germany. In addition, sponsoring partner Dell is providing the Porsche subsidiary MHP with hardware for one year.
The awards were presented by Jochen Wießler, Head of Ecosystem & Channels SAP Germany, Jürgen Renz, Managing Director of Dell, and jury member Holger Röder, Partner and Global Practice Leader Strategic IT Practice at A.T. Kearney.
"We congratulate the team around Hagen Radowski. MHP's application impressively demonstrates the possibilities that SAP Hana offers the economy"
says Jochen Wießler.
The application ideas in the developer competition covered various sectors, from the automotive industry and energy supply to banking, retail, manufacturing and solutions for risk and product managers.
During the competition, the teams were trained by SAP experts in workshops on the basics of in-memory technology, technical development details and marketing issues.
