Rita Tenan joins Tableau

Rita Tenan has been appointed Area Vice President, Public Sector (EMEA) at Tableau. Tenan will lead the Salesforce company's regional team for the public sector. In this role, she equips public sector organizations with the tools they need to better use and understand data. Rita Tenan graduated from the Ecole de Commerce with several degrees in International Business Management before starting her career at business intelligence company Fisher International. There she was responsible for mainframe and security solutions across the EMEA region.

She then worked for the software company Dynasoft, where she was head of sales for Central and Southern Europe. In her next position, Tenan sat on the board of Unisys and was Vice President of the Italian Service Practice. Her diverse and extensive experience also earned her a number of management positions at Microsoft. "With our technology solutions and the global Tableau community, we help governments in different regions to achieve added value with data. I am very much looking forward to this task"says Tenan herself about her new position.
