CEO change at Cenit
Peter Schneck becomes a member of the Cenit Management Board and takes over the position of CEO. The current CEO Kurt Bengel is scheduled to leave the company at the end of 2021. Schneck studied law in Bonn (specializing in international business law) and holds an MBA from the University of Reading.
In the course of his professional career, he has gained extensive management experience, often at the top of large international companies: Among other things, Peter Schneck acted as Managing Director at Scheidt & Bachmann, a global provider of IT solutions for parking management, and later as Managing Director of the parking management provider Apcoa.
After joining the Trapeze Group, a software company in the transportation technology sector owned by the Canadian group Constellation, Peter Schneck headed the company as CEO from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, he took over the position of CEO at Datagroup and was responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions, Investor Relations and Legal until his move to Cenit.
In close cooperation with Cenit's current CEO Kurt Bengel, Peter Schneck will be introduced to all areas of responsibility in the coming months and will introduce himself to all major customers, partners and suppliers.
