Both companies will develop an integrated RFID tracking and weighing solution based on the Harting edge computer Mica (Modular Industry Computing Architecture) for recording containers in production.
The SAP consulting company Itelligence is implementing its IT.X-Connect solution on the award-winning, modular and industrial-grade edge computer Mica, which transfers data collected via RFID from tracking and weighing processes to SAP processes.
Harting provides Mica as a hardware platform. This allows digitalization projects to be implemented quickly and directly on systems and machines.
In a pilot project, Itelligence developed a solution for recording assets - such as containers, pallets or forklift and weight recording - on Mica. For this purpose, an existing Itelligence product module was ported to Mica and extended with IoT functionality.
