Intralogistics in transition
In a unique industry concentration, LogiMat offers a clearly structured overview of the solution offerings for efficient intralogistics processes in times of digitalization in the eight exhibition halls according to industry segments.
The traditionally strongest exhibitor group represents the areas of materials handling technology, rack construction, warehouse and operating equipment.
System and plant manufacturers will show their latest developments, products and innovations for coordinated material flows.
The focus there: complete plants, storage and picking systems with new concepts, such as the 3D Matrix Solution from SSI Schäfer, and systems that are increasingly holistically oriented and autonomously take over the transport of goods in the warehouse.
Another significant group of exhibitors and innovators since the first LogiMat in 2003 are the developers and suppliers of logistics software. They are represented with their innovations, systems, modules and functional scopes for efficient process control, data networking and information processing in Hall 5 as well as in the entire Hall 7.
In focus: exhibits that support further digitization and mobility. The Swiss company Nufatron, for example, is presenting a new, modular telematics entry-level solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
It allows an individual compilation of standard app modules to solve daily tasks in transport logistics.
Cinram presents innovations around order processing with Google Glass data glasses.
Position recognition makes it possible to insert urgent orders "on demand" into the picking process.
With the modular warehouse management system developed for automated warehouses and a graphical material flow computer, Sysmat will be showing innovations for process control and the modernization and SAP integration of autonomously operating systems.
Start-up initiative
A remarkable novelty at LogiMat 2017 is the joint stand for start-ups in the intralogistics industry.
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) promotes the participation of young, innovative companies at leading international trade fairs. Ten start-ups are presenting themselves at this joint stand.
