Following the end of the exceptional economic situation caused by coronavirus, artificial intelligence is the top driver for further growth in the hyperscaler market. In Europe and especially in Germany, however, this will only work out if companies can develop and implement their AI models in sovereign cloud environments.
Only then will it be possible to meet the requirements of the EU's AI Act and gain a competitive edge over non-European AI offerings. Cloud providers who offer the right services for this have a good chance of achieving above-average growth. This is the conclusion of two new studies in which the market research company ISG (Information Services Group) analyzes the portfolio strength and implementation expertise of cloud providers on the hyperscaler market.
