According to a recent study by market analysis and consulting firm PAC, talent management is essential as part of the HR software platform, as nearly 80 percent of HR executives surveyed said.
To do this, companies need software that supports them in both operational and strategic HR tasks. They also want to improve their HR software in terms of data analysis, usability, mobile support and workflows.
Among the most challenging tasks in human resources, the managers surveyed ranked succession planning (60 percent), knowledge management (58 percent) and the promotion of specialists and managers (57 percent). Also important to them is being able to identify the development potential of their workforce.
Furthermore, companies need to make their HR-related processes more efficient and further automate them.
"Automation in personnel management is absolutely necessary. German companies have rather slept through this"
is how one study participant sums it up.
