HPI opens branch office in New York
The representative office is located on the 48th floor of the Hudson Yards building complex in Manhattan, one of the largest new construction projects in the city.
"Together with our partner, the SAP innovation platform Next-Gen, we will present the HPI's fields of work and research from there and expand the existing cooperation with leading research institutions, universities and companies"
says HPI Director Professor Christoph Meinel.
"Alongside Silicon Valley, New York is one of the fastest growing tech hubs. The branch office in New York opens up new opportunities for all HPI departments to intensify cooperation with American partners or initiate new projects."
The New York branch will be officially opened from June 19 to 21, 2017 with various events in the field of Design Thinking. These will include workshops as part of the HPI-Stanford Design Thinking Program, as well as presentations of continuing education programs and HPI research priorities.
