ifm presents GIB SCM Awards
The award is presented to companies that use ifm software to a particular extent to increase their profits, reduce inventories and improve delivery accuracy. In 2022, no less than three companies were able to enjoy the coveted trophy. The prize for the "Best optimization of inventories and delivery readiness" went to Aenova and BHS.
Since Gigaset provided decisive impetus to expand GIB Operations both professionally and technically, Andreas Tourneur, Vice President Order Center at Gigaset, was able to accept the award for the "Best Idea for Expanding a Software Module". Gigaset decided more than three years ago to switch to S/4 Hana and in doing so to take the path to the SAP Public Cloud.

Because SAP did not allow any extensions at that time, the new cloud solution MRP view XLNce was developed for Gigaset. It enables the German manufacturer of communications products to continue using features from GIB Operations in the cloud, but will also be available to other customers in the SAP Store in the near future. The ceremonial handover on the big stage of the Apollo Theater in Siegen was performed by Bilgin Kilic, Head of Department Direct Sales GIB S&D, and Björn Dunkel, Managing Director ifm business solutions.
