Hasso Plattner Institute awards travel grants


Some efforts are still needed to inspire more young women to pursue a career in the digital industry. After all, excellently trained IT specialists are in demand everywhere.
The Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) is awarding ten travel scholarships to particularly high-achieving and committed female computer science students for the "European Women in Technology" in Amsterdam.
With more than 4,000 visitors, the conference is one of Europe's largest trade fairs for women in the tech industry. The conference attracts executives and IT experts from all over Europe and offers women in the technology sector a platform to exchange knowledge, experiences and visions and to network.
Applicant must be an enrolled bachelor's or master's student at a German-speaking university at the time of the November 2019 event.
