The right capabilities, features and functionalities for the vision of an integrative overall solution, that's how the company acquisitions can be summed up. LogControl from Pforzheim expands the repertoire of the MHP Group with 30 years of experience in specialist and industry-specific software solutions as well as more than 1000 flexible modules.
In addition, KDL Logistiksysteme, based in Hamburg, focuses on solutions for complex tasks in materials management. Since 1991, the company has been developing, planning and implementing logistics systems for medium-sized and large companies.
The company names LogControl and KDL will remain and will later be merged under the brand umbrella of the MHP Solution Group. Michael Hirth remains managing director of LogControl. In addition, he manages the business of KDL together with Michael Schmitz.
With the new locations in Pforzheim and Hamburg, the MHP Solution Group now operates six locations in Germany. In addition, there are further offices throughout Europe. The number of employees increases to around 200.
With the acquisitions, the MHP Solution Group is deepening its core competencies for all warehousing and transport challenges. Bundled in the Logistics business unit, it covers the entire logistics process from sender to recipient together with two other business units for shipping and customs.
Jasmino Burkic, CEO of the MHP Group, comments on the growth strategy: "Logistics is a cross-sectional function. Its processes know no borders. It works globally and across companies.
In this changing environment, our customers have to adapt ever more quickly to a wide variety of requirements. A single IT company can no longer do this. That's why we are positioning ourselves as a group with integrated modules. We grow with our customers and tasks."
