Mr. Roßbach, what distinguishes the TEM from other event management solutions already existing on the market?

Matthias Roßbach: The TEM is based on the SAP Cloud Platform and is thus an event management solution tailored specifically to SAP users.

This means that the architecture of the TEM is designed in such a way that it can be ideally integrated into the customer's existing SAP landscape. In interaction with SAP modules such as S/4 Hana and Hybris Marketing, the application unfolds its full potential.

This allows users to leverage TEM data in Hybris Marketing for a wide range of marketing and sales activities, such as attendee segmentation, lead qualification, personalized targeting, event recommendations, and loyalty management. This is event and attendee management on a whole new level.

Why did you choose the SAP Cloud Platform as the basis for the TEM?

Rossbach: First of all, the SAP Cloud Platform is the link that connects the cloud and on-prem worlds. In addition, the flexibility factor was very important for us, because the great strength of SAP products is their flexible adaptation to the requirements of the respective user.

Based on the SAP Cloud Platform, TEM can also be adapted just as flexibly to the user's individual requirements as he is used to from his SAP solutions.

Another plus is that the SAP Cloud Platform can be used to leverage the microservices associated with it, such as geodata analysis, workflows, or document management.

What other benefits do SAP users get from using the solution?

Rossbach: With the TEM, Contrimo offers its customers a tool that impresses with its easy, intuitive operability and its clear menu navigation.

Thus, the TEM is equipped with a modern and comfortable HTML5 Fiori user interface, which users already know from their SAP solutions. In addition, the specifications of the SAP Fiori Design Guide were followed in the design and development of the menu navigation.

TEM is accessed via the launchpad, which users are also familiar with from their Fiori applications. Each employee has the option of configuring the launchpad according to his or her individual preferences (grouping of the most important functions, ordering and hiding of functions, etc.).

The individual functional areas of the TEM can of course also be displayed on a role-based basis, depending on the position. In this case, the individual employee only sees the data that he actually needs for his daily work.

What specific actions can I perform with the TEM?

Rossbach: The TEM offers me the possibility to store and manage my event data in only one solution. Of course, I can perform all important actions with the TEM:

For example, I can schedule my events, send automated invitation and cancellation emails, book, rebook and cancel attendees.

I can monitor my events in the event calendar and change them using drag-and-drop. Using the traffic light color scheme of the event calendar, I can also see the capacity utilization of my events at a glance and can thus decide within seconds where I should add participants and where it is better not to.

In addition, I can manage my hotel contingents in the hotel module, search for the right hotel for my participants via the automatic hotel search and receive information about the equipment of the individual rooms and the hotel.

Rossbach: With cloud solutions, the question of the security of the data used arises immediately. Especially when it comes to sensitive customer data, the question of IT security is particularly important.

Here, too, the TEM user is on the highly secure side. This is because all data is managed in SAP's excellent data centers in Germany, with the highest security standards guaranteed. This means data security at the highest level.
