Corona fires up digitization


The shortage of skilled workers, the fragmentation of customer touchpoints across various online and offline channels, and the cultural shift toward an agile way of working are among the most important obstacles that need to be overcome. Budgets for digitization projects are nevertheless set to rise.
Above all, companies want to add digital services to their existing product range: 88 percent of participants say they are developing digital value-added services such as apps, chatbots or customer care centers on a selective basis. Better integration of analog and digital sales channels is the focus for 83 percent of the study participants.
