Together with the Freudenberg Holding companies, the IT service provider Syntax has developed a particularly efficient procedure for implementing annual SAP upgrades. This means that regular updates can be realized considerably faster than usual. Freudenberg attaches great importance to updating its on-premises S/4 Hana systems annually in order to fully exploit innovation potential and drive forward the streamlining and standardization of its SAP landscape. For the annual SAP upgrade routine, which is completed within just a few weeks, Freudenberg and the IT service provider join forces - from planning to sandbox, development and test environment to importing the upgrade into the productive system. There are clearly defined, yet permeable structures for functioning, fast and uncomplicated communication between those involved in the project. The model also benefits from a pragmatic approach with a focus on the essentials.
