Through the acquisition, Cenit intends to further expand its international market strength as a PLM IT specialist and tap into customer potential in France and Benelux.
Against the backdrop of Industry 4.0, the acquisition intention forms the next logical step: Keonys is an established partner of Dassault Systèmes and provider of software integration for PLM and 3D design.
By acquiring the company, Cenit is expanding and profiling its solution portfolio around the 3D Experience platform and aims to become Dassault Systèmes' largest international value-added reseller.
Keonys is expected to generate sales of around 56 million euros in fiscal 2016 with around 160 employees. On the part of Cenit, the acquisition is in a final review phase, which under French law requires, among other things, consultation with employee representatives.
Subject to results, both companies expect the acquisition to be completed before the end of March.
