Fidis is integrating the German Protection Portal (DSPortal) developed by Bürgel into its Fact.Pilot factoring software. Fidis is a provider of SAP-based IT solutions for the factoring industry.
Bürgel has developed the DSPortal for the prevention of attempted fraud in credit and account opening applications. Suspicious cases from all participating financial institutions are collected and systematized in a data pool.
This information can also be used to detect indications of fraudulent factoring practices - quickly and on a large scale. Factoring companies can thus significantly reduce their default risk.

explains Otto Johannsen, Managing Director of Fidis.
