Automated test accelerator

SAP partner Worksoft, a provider of business process capture and testing automation software, has unveiled Acceleration, a new program. It uses automated business process capture solutions that enable customers to accelerate test automation for SAP software projects by up to 40 percent.

The program provides customers with new resources to define a strategy and roadmap for implementing a successful, business-oriented automation process for SAP software.

As a first step to faster automation, customers use Worksoft software to automatically identify, capture and visualize business processes. With shorter capture and planning processes and more depth and breadth in automation, Global 5000 companies can implement SAP applications faster to drive innovation, increase business impact and realize faster value from their SAP software investments.

Visualization and analysis of processes

The Acceleration program leverages Worksoft Process Mining and Capture technologies - the capture components of Worksoft Analyze, a cloud-based solution for automatically capturing, visualizing and analyzing business processes in enterprise applications.

With the ability to automatically gain knowledge of business processes, document processes, and perform functional testing, customers can dramatically increase return on investment and achieve faster time to value from initial test automation.

The following program components, among others, have been developed for advanced automation: Worksoft Process Mining enables customers to automatically capture their business processes and generate functional tests using historical data from SAP software.

Capture technology helps customers create sophisticated visualizations and analytics and gain deeper insights into business processes across the enterprise.

The technology works silently in the background for the end user to capture user interaction with SAP and web-based ERP solutions. ST03 data is used to further filter and prioritize business processes for automation. Customers can determine which business processes are most important and where to focus test automations.

Optimize Fiori, Hybris and SuccessFactors

Predefined optimizations for SAP applications such as Fiori, SuccessFactors, Hybris and Concur help customers quickly and easily create comprehensive test libraries. HP UFT scripts can be quickly and effortlessly converted into end-to-end Worksoft business process tests to reduce SAP test assets, improve business process coverage and reduce costs.

At the same time, a consistent user experience is achieved during functional testing. Once business processes are identified, captured, analyzed and prioritized, they are imported directly into Worksoft Certify for accelerated automated testing.
