EU regulations and national government offensives, but also increased digitization efforts are vehemently pushing e-invoicing. And this is happening across countries. Why ignoring e-invoicing is not an option.

Internationally active companies are increasingly turning to e-invoicing and electronic invoicing. Those who want to avoid penalty payment traps should know the compliance requirements of the respective country and master the technical complexity of implementation.

E-invoicing as part of a company-wide digitization strategy has gone from being an option to a necessity for many invoice recipients. Current EU requirements as well as national government initiatives are additionally driving e-invoicing usage for invoice receipt.

Transparency is necessary for the business department: They want to be informed if the message has not been transferred in the SAP ECC system inbound or outbound. If a message was sent successfully from SAP, they need reliable information about whether the message has arrived.
