SAP expands Executive Board
Julia White takes over the newly created Executive Board function as Chief Marketing and Solutions Officer, and Scott Russell will lead the Customer Success organization in the future. He succeeds Adaire Fox-Martin, who is leaving the company at her own request.
Julia White joins SAP after nearly 20 years at Microsoft, where she led product marketing for Microsoft Azure for the past five years. Prior to that, White was responsible for product marketing for Microsoft Office 365 as it moved to the cloud. The 47-year-old U.S. native holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
White will continue to work in the U.S. She has been appointed to the Executive Board for three years, effective March 1, 2021. Her role will focus on strengthening SAP's go-to-market approach to product, industry and digital marketing and linking customer and SAP ecosystem needs with product development. "We are in a crucial transformation phase"., White says.

Scott Russell brings more than 20 years of sales, management, consulting and technology experience to his new role. Under his leadership as president, Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), the SAP region has experienced above-average growth over the past three years, and SAP now has a stronger presence there. Russell has held numerous leadership positions at SAP, joining from IBM in 2010.
The 47-year-old Australian has been appointed to the board for a three-year term effective February 1, 2021. "I am honored and would like to thank the Supervisory Board for the trust they have placed in me," Russell said. "With a good team, I'm building on the great foundation laid by Adaire Fox-Martin."
