Crate.io wins Eva Schönleitner as CEO
With Eva Schönleitner, Crate.io is bringing an experienced expert onto the team who has already been working internationally in the fields of technology and industry for more than 20 years. After holding positions at global technology companies such as Microsoft and VMware as well as the management consulting firms Deloitte and IBM in the USA, Schönleitner was most recently Head of Digital Partnerships at the global industrial company ABB for several years.
"In my working life, I have always sought great challenges and therefore quickly immersed myself very deeply in the subject complex of market-leading technologies. At the major corporation ABB, I got to know the perspective and requirements of industrial companies.
Now it's time to apply this knowledge at Crate.io to perfectly tailor solutions for IIoT customers. I am looking forward to my new job and to transforming the company to the next level together with the two founders Christian Lutz and Jodok Batlogg."says Eva Schönleitner about her new position.
Schönleitner studied chemistry and mathematics at Kepler University in Linz and holds an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She spent 20 years in the USA in management positions in sales, marketing and product management in the high-tech sector.
Additionally, she gained international experience in DACH and Eastern Europe in senior management roles and built ABB's global digital partnerships as part of the company's digital strategy since 2017.
German Informatics Society appoints four GI Fellows
Susanne Boll, Wieland Holfelder, Andreas Oberweis and Simone Rehm were awarded GI Fellows by the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI).
The award honors computer scientists who have enhanced the reputation of computer science at home and abroad through exceptional scientific or practical achievements. With Susanne Boll, the GI honors a scientist who is committed both to linking basic research and application-oriented research and to holding a variety of positions in science administration.
With Wieland Holfelder, the GI honors a renowned practitioner who has anchored core concerns of German computer science (data protection and data security) within Google's worldwide development centers. With Andreas Oberweis, the GI honors a scientist and networker who has made his mark both in business informatics and in the transfer of knowledge from research to application.
With Simone Rehm, the GI honors a computer scientist who cares equally about the shaping and application of her discipline in science as well as in industry and society. Rehm has always been committed to the sustainable promotion of computer science.
New Vice President in the Presidium of the BVDW
Anna Kaiser has been appointed the new Vice President of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e. V. by its Executive Committee. Kaiser succeeds Stephan Noller, who has left the BVDW Executive Board for professional reasons.
Since the Executive Committee was not fully staffed after his departure, it made use of the statutory option of co-optation and appointed Anna Kaiser to the Executive Committee. Before her appointment by the BVDW Executive Board, Anna Kaiser was already active in the association as Chair of the Working World of the Future department.
Anna Kaiser is the founder and CEO of Tandemploy, an enterprise software that breaks down the entrenched structures in companies by networking employees for collaborative forms of work and learning and getting them out of their silos. BVDW President Matthias Wahl:
"We chose Anna Kaiser because New Work has become more important, especially since the outbreak of the corona pandemic. I look forward to working with her."
Anna Kaiser says of the appointment: "I would like to thank the BVDW Board for their trust. New concepts of work have been important for our economy not just since Corona. We are now tackling the digital transformation."
André Heinz joins Celonis
André Heinz becomes Chief People and Culture Officer of Celonis. Heinz is a respected HR executive with an international background.
His responsibilities will include recruiting and developing top talent for Celonis. In addition, André Heinz will ensure the permanent management of the special corporate culture that enables Celonis' rapid growth worldwide.
In this position, Heinz will play a critical role in implementing and developing the "Celonis Way" - a set of values and behaviors that serve as a compass for the company and its employees in everything they do.
These values influence all facets of the company - from brand, technology and operations to relationships with customers and partners. Previously, Heinz was Chief Human Resource Officer at Siemens Healthineers in Erlangen, Germany, where he was responsible for developing and implementing a global human resources strategy.
He sees employees as technology companies' greatest asset and firmly believes that organizational culture drives operational efficiency.
New Chief Operating Officer at Valantic People
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Wolfgang Braunmiller is now part of Valantic's management team and responsible for the Valantic People Competence Center with a focus on SAP Human Capital Management (HCM). The SAP expert primarily wants to drive the expansion of the operational teams in the areas of payroll and time management.
In addition, Braunmiller will support enterprise customers on their way to integrative cloud scenarios in human resources management. This also includes the use of new technologies such as voice-controlled chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI).
In his new role, Wolfgang Braunmiller intends to further expand Valantic's SAP HCM offering with new services and products. One focus will be on the integration of future technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent chatbots.
In addition, the further development of Valantic solutions and their integration in cloud environments will be driven forward. Prior to Valantic People, Braunmiller was an IT manager, SAP consultant, founding member and board member of an SAP consultancy and senior vice president for HCM and SuccessFactors.
Niko Hossain joins Lobster Logistics Cloud as spokesman for the management board and is responsible for strategy, sales and investor relations. When asked about his goals, the new managing director mentions the further expansion of the Logistics Cloud.
Alexander Trimborn and André Langensiepen take over the new Ikor business unit "Portals". The core services of the new business unit include user experience design and implementation. For this purpose, Ikor connects all common infrastructures, such as SAP.
Daniela Bücker and Ralf Teufel strengthen the executive board team of Fiducia & GAD IT. Daniela Bücker looks back on more than twenty years of professional and management experience, while Ralf Teufel, as a bank business economist, knows the practical needs of banks.
