We therefore see it as our duty to our customers to identify trends in the manufacturing environment at an early stage and to respond to them with strategic concepts. On the way to Industry 4.0, IT support in manufacturing plays a central role.

In order to be able to cover the requirements of future manufacturing processes, new functions and standards are needed that affect MES applications in particular. Therefore, we have taken the initiative and present MES 4.0, a concept for the MES of the future.

In addition to topics such as interoperability, flexibility, management support, online capability, integrative data handling, horizontal integration, decentralization, unified store floor connectivity and many others, MES 4.0 also includes the increased use of mobile MES components.

This enables processes to be mapped more smartly and everyday tasks in production to be handled more efficiently. From now on, we will successively develop all our MES applications in the direction of MES 4.0.
