New company headquarters in Heidelberg
After two years of construction, the renowned SAP consultancy is moving into its new, modern company headquarters at Stadttor Ost in Heidelberg's Bahnstadt district. At Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse 9, on the corner of Speyerer Strasse, a five-story building has been constructed as a passive house.
With its new headquarters, cbs is responding to its sustained strong growth and creating space for further expansion. The consulting firm is positioning itself globally. In the past five years, the number of employees has more than doubled to 450.
The reason for this is the consistently high demand for international SAP projects. The new cbs headquarters comprises five floors, a penthouse as well as an underground car park and a landscaped courtyard.
In total, there will be 5600 m2 of total space available there. It is a passive house with its own 50-kilowatt solar system on the roof. The photovoltaics cover a large part of the power supply in the building.
The high level of heat recovery also means that hardly any heating is required in winter. Environmental friendliness and energy efficiency therefore play a special role at the new cbs headquarters:
The new building meets the highest standards for sustainability. The new building is located only about a ten-minute walk from Heidelberg's main train station and offers a total of 450 office spaces.
