NTT Data and Gisa have also presented an efficient and highly available car sharing solution as part of their smart city cooperation. The solution is designed to meet the highest security standards and yet allow individual vehicles through to entire fleets to be converted into carsharing vehicles in a very short time with just a few technical interventions.
This turns regional utilities and municipal utilities into mobility providers without much effort.

explains Ragnar Wachter, Head of Industry Telecommunication, Utilities, Services & Logistics at NTT Data Germany.
"iCS works with conventional vehicles, but is basically designed for electric vehicles as well."
The IT system allows all conceivable variants: sharing with a small group of people such as colleagues, a somewhat larger community such as all customers of a municipal utility, but also connection to large networks.
