The German Russian Initiative for Digitalization (GRID) aims to bring together the strengths of German and Russian business and government in the field of digital technologies of the future.
Members of the initiative include Siemens, SAP, the Russian telecommunications group Rostelekom, the Russian AI provider Zyfra and the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce Abroad.
"Although Russia is still catching up in smart manufacturing, the country has great potential in the field of artificial intelligence because mathematical education is good and there is an abundance of young talent"
said Igor Bogachev, General Director of Zyfra
"We are ready not only to learn from our European colleagues, but also to share our experience. And we call on other companies on the Russian market to support GRID"
says the Zyfra boss.
