AI accelerates digitization of work

Flexible workplaces and the use of innovative analytics technologies and artificial intelligence are on the rise, according to Dimension Data's Digital Workplace Report: Transforming Your Business.
However, 60 percent of companies worldwide do not have a formulated strategy for how they will use digital workplace technologies to their advantage.
Among other things, the report addresses the question of how corporate workplaces are evolving from a traditional office environment to digital workplaces.
It is clear that more flexible ways of working are playing a growing role in digitization. For example, 40 percent of the companies surveyed said that they employ people who work full-time from home.
It is estimated that this share will rise to 56 percent within the next two years. The report also shows the growing importance of innovative analysis methods.
For example, 25 percent of executives expect that new types of tools for analyzing the workplace, augmented reality technologies and micro-learning, i.e. learning in small learning units, will play a major role within this year. The majority of these executives also plan to invest in such technologies in the future.
