Heroes and heroines in the background:

Under the motto „Heroes and heroines in the background“ moves the PITS 2026 on June 16 and 17, 2026 focuses on the people who ensure the digital security of the state and administration. The Public IT Security Congress at the Adlon Berlin brings together experts from federal, state and local authorities.

IT security has become a central requirement for the functioning of modern states. Increasing digitalization makes reliable protection mechanisms indispensable.
At the same time, the threat scenarios have changed. Professional hacker groups carry out complex attacks on IT systems.
PITS 2026 brings together experts from administration, politics and business. The focus is on topics such as artificial intelligence and cyber attacks in the public sector.
