SAP is expanding its global learning ecosystem to prepare millions of professionals for an AI-driven future. To support its goal of equipping 12 million people with AI-enabled skills by 2030, SAP is expanding access to high-quality, instructor-led training through new strategic partnerships and an expanded network of authorized training providers.
To accelerate this initiative, SAP is expanding its partner-driven delivery approach for SAP Learning Class courses to provide more flexibility, greater geographic coverage and additional language options. Starting in 2026, this expanded network of authorized partner organizations and individuals will provide broader access to premium SAP training so they can build real-world expertise and prepare talent for real-world implementation challenges.
Strategically important India
India is one of the fastest growing talent centers in the world and is driving the global digital transformation with its expanding developer and consulting workforce. With a 26 percent share of SAP's global learner base, the country plays a central role in the long-term qualification strategy.
With rapid AI adoption and modernization, there are currently over 25,000 job openings in India requiring SAP expertise in consulting, development and technology roles. Leading employers such as Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys and Maruti Suzuki are actively hiring SAP professionals, including entry-level professionals. This surge in demand underscores the importance of expanding access to high-quality, instructor-led training through SAP's strengthened partner ecosystem - a critical factor in developing a future-ready workforce base in India. Over the years, SAP has significantly expanded the breadth and depth of its learning portfolio. Since 2022, the company has reached 4 million learners globally; the SAP learning platform grew from just 7 learning paths to more than 400. SAP recently introduced its newly designed certification approach, which includes performance-based exams where candidates can complete practice-oriented tasks using AI tools such as SAP Joule for Consultants. Already 65 exams - 61 percent of all SAP certifications - have been converted to this practice-oriented, performance-based format. All remaining certifications will be converted to this new model in the first half of 2026.
