The "Everyman AI" has limits
Nationwide AI survey
Two out of three Germans know ChatGPT, but most of them only from hearsay. This is the result of a representative survey conducted by Forsa on behalf of the analytics and AI provider SAS. Helene Lengler, Managing Director of SAS Germany, says: "I think it's great that everyone is talking about AI now thanks to ChatGPT - because it means people are getting to grips with the technology. They see what AI can do and lose their shyness to even try it themselves.
But I don't want my bank advisor to rely on ChatGPT, let alone my doctor or the government. So we need to clearly delineate what 'everyman AI' can and may do - and in which use cases professionals are needed with the support of reliable and, above all, transparent AI. And for that, people need to know AI from more than just hearsay."
