Together, the founding members, which in addition to Simplifier include Scopeland Technology, Necara, Jobrouter, Allisa Software and selected regional IT service providers such as D-Research and DMK E-Business, want to promote and develop the technology primarily in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. To this end, close cooperation with universities and scientific institutions is to be further intensified and successively expanded. Furthermore, the awareness of Low-Code is to be increased: Together, the members would like to draw attention to the potential of the innovative technology and break down stigmas through high-profile measures and events.

With low-code, the technical complexity is significantly lower than with conventional programming methods. The technology also supports the creation of mobile-capable applications and thus meets an important requirement profile of many companies. As a result, the required applications can be created much more easily and quickly and the available resources and budget can be used optimally.

One important reason for this is the ability of specialists from the company's own departments to participate in the creation of apps without prior programming knowledge or to create them independently or under the direction of IT professionals. In this way, low-code conserves essential resources and mitigates the effects of the shortage of skilled IT staff.
