6000 EUR for Sterntalerhof
Tech Data hosted golf cup and made a donation to Sterntalerhof
Tech Data invited guests to one of the Finest Golf Courses of the World, Schönborn Castle, in mid-September. The course impresses with its magnificently renovated castle and a golf course that is perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings and is one of the most challenging golf courses in Austria. Michael Sewald, Managing Director of Tech Data Austria, welcomed the approximately 60 golfers in the morning in rainy weather. After a short delay, which was used for active networking, the starting signal was given for the golf cup and the introduction to the taster course for golf beginners.
"I am very pleased," says Michael Sewald, "that our Golf Cup, to which we invite manufacturers and sales partners of ours, is so popular. The mix of sport and social commitment is in keeping with the spirit of the times, and so at the end of the event I was able to present a donation check in the amount of 6,000 euros to Sterntalerhof. At this point, once again a big thank you for the great willingness of all participants to donate and congratulations to this year's winner!"
Sterntalerhof is a children's hospice or family hostel that cares for families with seriously, chronically and terminally ill children. The event was supported by Tech Data manufacturers Barracuda, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hitachi, HPE, IBM, Intel, Lenovo and Microsoft.
