In parallel with the switch to S/4 Hana, Swiss Post has implemented the mass billing solution SAP BRIM, Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, in areas with high billing volumes to prepare for the digital services market of the future.

Since 2017, GTW and SAP have been working hand in hand as a team in the various project phases of the BRIM implementation project. Here, the roles are clearly distributed.

The effort required for the creation of personnel documents was enormous at Swiss Post. Automating the processes was therefore the clear goal of those responsible. Existing SAP HR master data was to be used for this purpose.

Sending business documents from SAP ERP by e-mail is only possible to a limited extent with the standard functions. Orders, purchase orders, delivery bills and invoices are still sent by mail. The remedy is an add-on that allows business correspondence to be delivered directly from the ERP system by e-mail.
