SAP will provide maintenance for the core applications of Business Suite 7 (ERP/ECC 6.0) until the end of 2027 and then offer optional Extended Maintenance until the end of 2030. There are no official statements on AnyDB, NetWeaver and the Compatibility Packs.

SAP manager Christian Mehrtens explained at an SAP partner event in Frankfurt/M that one of the reasons for the extended availability of ERP/ECC 6.0 until 2027/2030 is the expected shortage of consultants.

The good news is that there is an SAP maintenance extension for ERP/ECC 6.0, Customer Relationship Management 7.0, Supply Chain Management 7.0, and Supplier Relationship Management 7.0 and Business Suite powered by Hana (SoH) through the end of 2027, followed by paid Extended Maintenance through the end of 2030.

SAP has publicly announced Business Suite 7 will remain in maintenance beyond 2025 - the deadline has been pushed back.

SAP has extended the maintenance of Business Suite 7 until 2030. At the same time, SAP published an update of service note 1648480, version 21 on February 4, 2020.
