SAP-Solution: ERP ECC

"SAP on Cloud" is the order of the day in the universe of the Walldorf-based software giant. Without question, there is a wide range of tangible benefits to moving an ERP/ECC infrastructure to the virtual "cloud".
For a long time, SAP was considered a closed system in a heterogeneous system environment. R/3 and even still ERP/ECC 6.0 feel comfortable on different platforms.
Legacy SAP system shutdowns are becoming more and more important as a result of the transition from the Business Suite to S/4. Data must be extracted from a legacy system but it is important that this data can be used as required. Specifically developed standard solutions offer numerous advantages.
The upcoming version 9.2 of the widely used SAP system copy tool BlueSystemCopy from automation specialist Empirius, which will be presented in the exhibition area of this year's DSAG annual congress, features numerous innovations.
The switch from SAP ERP Classic to Hana-based applications such as S/4 usually entails new developments for providers of SAP add-on or supplementary solutions. PBS Software is very much through with this, as shareholders Günther Reichling and Prof. Detlev Steinbinder explain in the following E3 exclusive interview.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
