SAP Solution: E2E

Buzzwords are my topic. Why? Because my thesis is that buzzwords definitely have a right to exist - but only if they can be roughly categorized and the majority of them make sense.
The IT field of artificial intelligence has been around for many decades. HR management as an IT/Org topic is just as old. The idea of a composable ERP, on the other hand, is very new, which is naturally more than just best-of-breed.
End-to-end business processes remind me of my early days with SAP R/3. A lot of things didn't work then, but when they did, they were consistent, evaluated, and definitely E2E. SAP CEO Klein talks a lot about integration.
For the transformation to a Customer Centric Company, all processes must be taken into account. One example shows how an integrative view of core and support processes can contribute to greater customer centricity and an optimized lead-to-cash process.
More and more companies are turning to the support of a digital twin when planning new production facilities and supply chains or when expanding or improving old logistics concepts.
It's an old debate in the SAP community: Can applications be added in such a way that one plus one should ultimately add up to three - or should homogeneous integration be given precedence? Together with Blue Yonder, we have answered the question.
End-to-end processes are often written about. This is no wonder, after all, end-to-end digitization and thus data exchange without media discontinuity are the effectiveness and, above all, efficiency utopia of the vast majority of those responsible.
For some time now, the term "Intelligent Enterprise" has been brought to the fore by SAP marketing. For companies, this raises questions above all, because it is currently still unclear on the market whether this is a product.
There is something masochistic about good consultants: they optimize and automate until they themselves are no longer needed either. The SAP Data Hub could have a similarly unpleasant effect on the rest of SAP's offering.
ERP has masterd the concept of thinking in end-to-end processes right from the start. E2E ultimately is the term for the value added by every integrated, business IT system. Everything in these IT systems is connected with everything—an advantage for the user, a challenge for license management. In this text, Stefan Autengruber, SAP Licensing Expert at License Ethics, and Peter Färbinger, E-3 Editor-in-Chief, share their perspectives on the new SAP Licensing Model.
In the E-3 exclusive interview, Ulrich Müller from BlackLine shows how Continuous Accounting enables accounting to better reflect the current dynamics of general business development. The approach embeds automation and control directly into daily work.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
