SAP-Solution: Rechenzentren

Whether in industry, transport or administration, whether in the world of work or in everyday life: increasing digitization has led to further growth in data centers in Germany.
The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection has published a draft for an energy efficiency law that would significantly tighten the requirements for data centers.
Data centers are part of the digital infrastructure ecosystem and at the same time a guarantor of ecologically sustainable digitization in Europe. They can make their contribution to achieving the climate targets in Germany and Europe.
A successful, cost-efficient and mostly effortless migration to S/4 Hana does not start with the migration per se. It starts with the architecture of the application landscape.
With Hana, SAP has been relying on Linux as a server operating system for years in its development and thus on the most powerful system for high-performance database applications. These must be backed up in a powerful way.
Software Defined Infrastructure is a good basis for driving private cloud, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud initiatives. More and more companies are recognizing this.
More and more all-flash storage arrays are finding their way into data centers. They could dominate the primary storage environment as early as 2018/2019. This enables the CIO to increase the performance of the SAP landscape and optimize IT operating costs without major restructuring.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
