SAP-Solution: CCC

ERP programs, apps, and engines come and go. What has made us successful is a competent, agile and knowledgeable SAP Basis team. We have always built our SAP systems on a strong foundation.
SAP users who choose strictly between best-of-breed tools and suite solutions for SAP Basis automation solutions are missing out on optimization potential. It makes sense to use a suite as a "central point of management" with the integration of other tools.
The familiar CCoE (Customer Center of Expertise) could become the CCCoE (Customer Cloud Center of Expertise) because RISE and GROW are not all-inclusive offerings. Without the contribution of SAP customers, little will change. SAP itself is undergoing a transformation!
The SAP base will determine the success of the S/4 conversion in the coming years, because it is at the base that challenges relating to SAP licenses, staff shortages and digital transformation can be solved.
About twenty years ago, we had a cartoon in E-3 magazine that showed the ancient hero Sisyphus standing at the foot of the mountain with his stone to roll up forever, only to have it rumble back down from the top.
In the SAP R/3 era, the Customer Competence Center, CCC, was a great success. Certified existing SAP customers were able to save parts of the annual maintenance fee and thus cross-subsidize the CCC operation.
It would be intelligent to work together, wouldn't it? The word "community" is often used, and one sometimes hears the term "community of values" as well. At the end of the day, however, many players cook their own soup - including the user association DSAG.
Familiar patterns of behavior are reluctantly abandoned: A hit in the SAP community from the R/3 era is the Customer Competence Center.
Sometimes there is a gap between what users want and what providers offer. SAP also recognized this challenge and gave birth to the idea of the CCC.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
