SAP Solution: BlueCopy

Leonhard Kurz, the global market leader in thin-film technology, is implementing updates to SAP Hana, SAP Kernel and Linux OS as part of an update triple based on an SAP Basis automation suite.
SAP Basis automation has undergone rapid development over the past 20 years. SAP customers demonstrably benefit from the "SAP Basis automation suite instead of individual tools" approach. More on this topic at the DSAG Technology Days 2025.
Empirius recently launched a new version of the SAP Basis automation suite Epos. With new features, some of which bring considerable user benefits for SAP Basis teams.
A new add-on package for the BlueCopy system copy suite from Empirius, which is widely used on the market, closes two gaps in the creation and use of Hana system copies.
Version 10.1 of Empirius' widely used software for creating SAP system copies, called BlueCopy, comes with new features and more flexibility.
At Empirius, profound SAP Basis knowledge is the basis for practical and beneficial tools for creating SAP system copies and sandboxes.
More and more companies are saying goodbye to manual or manual creation of the necessary SAP system copies and are instead relying on specialized software tools tailored to their needs. This is also the case for the successful food and beverage producer Spitz.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
