SAP Fiori accelerates HR processes

There can be no universal answer. But if concrete process improvements are already on the horizon, new ideas and viable "bridge solutions" are better than waiting - this was the experience at dm Tech, the IT subsidiary of the drugstore chain dm.
For some time now, the company had been looking for a time-saving solution for classic HR processes such as changes in working hours or permanent employment. The application forms were already available digitally on the intranet within MS Sharepoint. However, there was no integration with the SAP HCM backend system. The implementation partner was Projekt0708.
Above all, the new solution had to be mobile-capable. At dm Tech, they wanted to use a toolset for this that is already included in the SAP HCM Suite: "Processes and Forms". The processes or templates from this modular system must first be copied and adapted to the respective use cases.
By default, Web Dynpro Abap or even Adobe Interactive Forms - and also SAP Fiori - can be used as user interfaces for this. Fiori was the choice of dm Tech and customizations were made by Projekt0708.
