UNICEF donation instead of customer gifts
The Syrian girls and boys cannot help the war, but many of them have to struggle daily with overcrowded refugee camps and little protection from the cold.
The emergency shelters lack water, food, medicine and heat. Allgeier Experts has therefore decided against Christmas presents for customers and experts and in favor of a donation to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
"Especially at Christmas, families come closer together and we appreciate more than usual what we have: a roof over our heads, enough to eat and loving people around us. However, not everyone in the world is as well off as we are, and we should always bear that in mind.
That's why we decided to help children in Syria."
says Patrick Mildner, Member of the Management Board of Allgeier Experts.
With the donation, UNICEF can, for example, procure more than 5400 packets of nutritious peanut paste for severely malnourished children or provide 60 sets of protective winter clothing for children. In this way, Allgeier Experts was able to make a small contribution to the well-being of Syrian children and provide saving warmth at Christmas time.
