KPS: 38,890 kilometers for a good cause

In doing so, they almost circled the globe once - and thus raised 9724 euros in donations for initiatives in Munich, Barcelona, London and Copenhagen.

As in previous years, the focus is on supporting children and young people. The kilometers run by the almost 200 runners in summer 2019 were collected via the company's own app myCompany.

It was also possible to post pictures of one's own runs and to follow the runs of colleagues. This spurred on the runners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Spain, Denmark and Norway even more - and brought them to a total of 5396 runs.

The goal was to run 40,075 kilometers - to circle the equator once. With 38,890 kilometers run, the KPS runners from seven countries almost reached their goal.

KPS donated a total of 9724 euros to four aid organizations in Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and Spain: The Munich-based initiative IMMA to support young people in problem situations, the Danish Children's Cancer Aid, the clinic clowns Pallapupas from Barcelona, and the children's aid organization Jigsaw4u with numerous projects in Great Britain were each pleased to receive 2431 euros.
