The global and independent platform for the SAP community.

A recent Workday study shows that organizations around the world are struggling to keep up with the pace of digitization. Now they are looking for a way to achieve sustainable transformation.
New work in the cloud, in the home office, on the road needs a new people management as a success factor. HR must reinvent itself: In the past, HR was an administrative task of salary payments and vacation entitlements.
Legacy systems are often seen as the biggest barrier to digital innovation, and so modernization is high on the agenda for companies.
Today, there is no way around the digitization of HR management: The benefits range from digital HR support and recruiting to payroll, talent management, and innovations such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The best software is only worth as much as the expertise of the people responsible for it. Sebastian Rüting has led Workday's HR solutions to success with a great deal of knowledge and prudence.
As a company with a very high degree of internationalization, the Freudenberg Group faced the challenge of restructuring its HR processes from ten different Business Groups in more than 60 countries.
What strikes me is that a cloud-native provider like Workday approaches the topic of transformation much more calmly and confidently than ERP world market leader SAP. Based on a mature cloud-only approach, they offer users a well thought-out evolution. Naturally agile and resilient, not disruptive and hectic. SAP conjures new concepts out of the cylinder every six months, which irritates existing customers: There is a lack of orientation!...
A key criterion when deciding for or against a software provider is whether the introduction and deployment can be carried out on time, within the agreed budget and with little risk. These requirements are a particular focus for medium-sized companies.

Working on the SAP basis is crucial for successful S/4 conversion.

This gives the Competence Center strategic importance for existing SAP customers. Regardless of the S/4 Hana operating model, topics such as Automation, Monitoring, Security, Application Lifecycle Management and Data Management the basis for S/4 operations.

For the second time, E3 magazine is organizing a summit for the SAP community in Salzburg to provide comprehensive information on all aspects of S/4 Hana groundwork.
