Focus on internationalization
For TiSC board member and former GIB co-founder Michael Schuster, the focus of his future plans for GIB is on internationalization.
Michael Schuster, co-founder of GIB
"The business is to be expanded and strengthened through internationalization"
"In the environment of corporate and strategic development, we are planning significant growth. Under the keyword 'early adopter', TiSC wants to be an early player in the topic of Industry 4.0."
the strategist formulates the common direction of the path into the digitalized future.
To achieve this significant growth, Schuster has recruited Nadine Rahman, a proven internationalization expert, to the TiSC executive team.
His colleague on the Executive Board brings her many years of expertise in setting up international branch offices for SAP and IFM to TiSC's projects.
In particular, Rahman's extensive experience in the Asian, Australian and North American markets will be invaluable to the further internationalization of GIB.
The expert sees great opportunities in the cooperation with Qosit and IFM.
Nadine Rahman on collaboration within TiSC:
"With the strong partner IFM in our background, we can fully concentrate on the positive aspects of new start-ups around the world.
We will focus on the globalization of our brand, which should succeed through customer growth and satisfaction"
She sees her tasks as a member of the board as both a challenge and a great opportunity for the future of GIB.
"We have a very strong product that is already appreciated by more than 300 customers, and I strongly believe that this success can also be transferred to the international market"
she assures.
Nadine Rahman wants her work to be guided by the IFM philosophy, which is summed up in the slogan "Close to you."
Customer and market proximity are just as indispensable for long-term success as the hard facts that the company brings to the table as market advantages, he said.
For example, she cites the certification of the official SAP add-on Dispo-Cockpit and the existing Hana certificates up to S/4 as GIB's most important trump cards.
Nadine Rahman concretizes her plans within TiSC like this:
"In order to focus even more strongly on internationalization, we have established the Global Business Development team at GIB.
The strategy is to develop one large and one small market each year."
USA & NL
In 2017, the USA and the Netherlands are on the agenda. Rahman explains:
"In the US, GIB has been present since 2015 through our sales partner Itelligence and is already making significant sales.
However, the market is huge and by having our own local branch we are increasing the thrust with which to raise the profile of GIB.
We want to make the GIB brand a household name."
Together with its new partners and the current GIB Managing Director Björn Dunkel, GIB sees itself on a good path in this direction.
"Björn Dunkel asks the right questions at the right time.
This gives me the security that the DACH market and the trends there are in the best hands with him. This means I can concentrate fully on internationalization.
Nadine Rahman is pleased.
Rahman has been entrusted with regional management responsibility at numerous locations in the Asian region in recent years and points out that the "Made in Germany" brand is of great importance in this part of the world.
"We can compete against low-cost local alternative suppliers with German quality without major problems."
Rahman wants to put this statement into practice in the areas of marketing and sales at the management level of TiSC. With her twelve years of professional experience at SAP and almost four years as Managing Director at IFM, she is ideally equipped to do so.
