Minsait Acquires Colombian Company MQA
MQA has more than 20 years of experience in Latin America, where it provides its portfolio of options for the integration of SAP solutions. It has a consolidated and mature customer base of more than 240 clients, who can benefit from Minsait's broad digital portfolio in high-value areas such as cloud, cybersecurity or artificial intelligence, generating commercial synergies between both companies. MQA is firmly established, mainly in the industrial sector (manufacturing, construction, transportation, pharmaceuticals, automotive), distribution, consumer and services. It has alliances not only with SAP, but also with other strategic partners with which Minsait already works, such as AWS, Google and IBM.
For Minsait, which through this operation becomes one of the main SAP partners in the region, the incorporation of MQA will enable it to strengthen its business in Colombia and Central America by providing it with new advanced capabilities in the digital business of business management solutions locally, as well as expanding its portfolio of solutions with a focus on other Latin American markets where it already has a solid presence. Likewise, the incorporation of highly specialized talent, under the leadership of an innovative and recognized management team, will position the company in the best condition to capture the full value of the SAP market, which presents an estimated annual growth rate of 10 percent until 2025, and an evolution towards cloud models.
Minsait, a Spanish company, has extensive SAP experience in other regions of the world: it has more than 2,600 experts and more than 700 projects in 35 countries. Minsait belongs to SAP's select group of strategic partners (which includes some twenty companies from around the world), and helps its clients to design, implement and integrate solutions, optimizing business processes and their strategic capacity. MQA's activity is therefore a clear fit with Minsait's references, as it allows it to gain scalability within a very specific region and to offer new growth capabilities to the firms already working in the area with MQA.
This acquisition is in line with Indra's Leading the Future strategic plan, presented last March 6 and which establishes for Minsait, among other objectives, the strengthening of its digital offering and its international business, with a view to exceeding 50 percent of revenues in both dimensions by 2026. MQA is the best positioned company in Latam in SAP business management solutions, which will allow us to bring its knowledge to our current customers in the region, boosting our digital business in the area, especially in the cloud.”
