Due to some rather unfortunate decisions and unexpected, unintended consequences, there unfortunately isn’t much left of the Hana platform idea. Some remnants are still around, though, like the XS Classic (XSC) component. XSC was designed to be simple, deeply integrated with the Hana server, and apparently riddled with technical drawbacks. To solve these issues, XS Advanced (XSA) was developed – but is it really an improvement over XSC?
