Together for German SMEs
The aim of the agreement is to enable the midmarket customers of the All for One Group to switch to SAP S/4 Hana quickly and securely. Based on our software, All for One has developed an offer in the subscription model that is suitable for mid-sized companies.
With the CrystalBridge data transformation platform and the Bluefield approach, SNP offers the option of selective migration at table level. All for One provides holistic support for SAP customers and is supported in the technical migration by SNP Delivery. This allows both partners to achieve a scaling effect. This offering, called Conversion/4, has already won several awards.
All for One currently has around 1,000 SAP maintenance customers in the German-speaking market who will gradually migrate to S/4. Our CrystalBridge software creates planning security and transparency for business and IT transformations. The software makes complex transformation tasks more flexible and enables the combination of several individual projects into one overall project.
Through automations we increase the quality and on the other hand reduce the project time to a minimum. CrystalBridge is an end-to-end based data transformation platform and enables a common factory approach.
In July 2021, we took stock of our collaboration. In the meantime, we can look back on more than 20 signed project contracts, including some exciting lighthouse projects. Our range of services and our understanding of customer-oriented work, always with a view to the individual needs of our customers in complex transformation projects, complement each other perfectly.
The market response has convinced us to expand our partnership. With our supplemented agreements, we want to work even more closely together, address a larger customer segment and increase our sales reach.
Case Study: Cleanpart switches to S/4 Hana in four months with Bluefield
Cleanpart will be fully integrated into the Mitsubishi Chemicals Group in the near future. Transparency across all business units will thus become increasingly important. Reporting, for example, will triple according to the company's own estimates.
CFO Paul Spranger has taken on the task of making Cleanpart fit for the integration. From the very beginning, his main concern in switching to SAP S/4 Hana was to implement the project as quickly as possible, to keep future ongoing operating costs low, and to realize the added value in reporting and processes. "You can't run a company successfully these days if you have a disintegrated ERP structure with many different softwares and many interfaces, that just leads to complications, avoidable complications, slowdowns and errors. We had that in the past"says Paul Spranger, Finance Director at Cleanpart Group.
Cleanpart chose the SAP transformation subscription Conversion/4 for the changeover from the previous SAP ERP/ECC system to S/4, with All for One consultants using the CrystalBridge data transformation platform and SNP's software-based Bluefield approach.
The changeover from ECC to S/4 was completed in just four months net project duration. Even preliminary projects such as the changeover to business partners or interface connections, both topics for which a five-month preliminary project is set up in the conventional process, were carried out within the main project. Above all, however, this avoided downtime during ongoing business operations, i.e. the changeover took place without interrupting business operations.
"We chose the Conversion/4 subscription because it was the most economical, the fastest solution to our problem. It keeps costs at a reasonable level and avoids downtime to existing operations. The Bluefield approach was critical to meeting the deadline."says Paul Spranger.
Right from the start, the key users were relieved of their daily tasks related to the existing ECC system, so that they could use the time gained for enablement for SAP S/4. Conversion/4 thus goes far beyond the purely technical changeover and also focuses on the employees in order to tap the potential in the business processes and thus bring innovation into the company.
Cleanpart receives its S/4 system as a managed service from All for One, including operation and support. Operation takes place on Microsoft Azure - in Paul Spranger's view the most forward-looking cloud platform for business applications. The operating model on Azure ensures cost transparency and security over the entire subscription period.
With SAP S/4, Cleanpart now has an integrated system across various areas of the company - from finance and controlling to production and HR. This creates the basis for meeting group reporting requirements on the one hand and implementing improvements in processes and production workflows on the other.
The operating model - S/4 as a managed service from All for One on Azure - makes ongoing SAP operations financially calculable, cost-efficient and conserves the scarce resources of the company's own IT team. The fast, secure and smooth execution of the actual conversion project now serves as a blueprint in the Mitsubishi Chemicals Group. Cleanpart's positioning as a speedboat in the group is thus underpinned - a nice side effect, as Paul Spranger mentions with a smile.
"Every company worldwide has to think about digitization. From an IT partner, we expect commitment, knowledge of our business, experience in dealing with our requirements, and flexibility. All for One and SNP know their business."says Paul Spranger. "With a vendor who didn't know our business, who didn't have all the services we needed, it would have been impossible to do it that quickly. It was a great pleasure working with the people there."
